BUILD THE NETWORK

Donate
A community network is best run with the investment of network members. To ensure that our network is fully inclusive, there are no annual membership fees. Please consider supporting diversity and change in Silver Spring through an annual donation.

Have you…
  • Attended a network event?
  • Participated in a workshop?
  • Graduated from a leadership training program?
  • Received advice and support from an IMPACT staff member or fellow network member?
Consider the value of your experience, and give today!

Talk up the Network with Others
If you know a neighbor, family member, friend, or business interested in making an investment in their local community, tell them about IMPACT and invite them to join the Network! We can all be ambassadors for a thriving, multicultural community.

Bring your Networks into the IMPACT Network
The impact of your circles can be magnified when connected to the IMPACT Network! Talk with us about ways to connect these circles and their work to broader community goals.

Giving Circles
Circles of 8-15 friends are invited to come together to form an IMPACT Giving Circle. Our staff will be happy to facilitate circles that commit to raising a minimum of $1,500 and to building collective awareness about community life in Silver Spring. Contact Lianna for more information.

Network Guides
In 2010, IMPACT is running a new leadership training program for 8-10 individuals who would like to be Network Guides – weavers of the IMPACT Network. Guides commit a year to IMPACT to do community-building, which includes designing and facilitating community-building events, supporting community-grown initiatives and projects, sharing tools, being ambassadors of the Network, and more. Contact Ronnie for more information.

Other Volunteering
IMPACT takes a very nontraditional approach to volunteering, based on our idea of the network. However, there are certain points throughout the year when volunteers help us do our work better! Contact Chris and let him know how you could be helpful.
