IMPACT Silver Spring’s programs engage new voices, develop diverse leaders and spark collaboration and action to create a successful community for everyone.

IMPACT Silver Spring has 4 programs:

• IMPACT in the Schools works with parents, schools and communities to build successful multicultural schools and to bridge the growing achievement gap between White and immigrant and minority children.
  
  
• Neighborhood IMPACT, a 9 month leadership development program for renters, teaches essential skills for working with diverse people and groups and provides a framework for collaborative action.
  
  
• IMPACT Connections provides facilitation and technical support linking emerging leaders to established leaders and building bridges across organizations.
  
  
• Lasting IMPACT, a leadership network for graduates of IMPACT programs, includes leadership development, peer support, mentoring, incubating new community projects and community action.

Our programs work by:
