USE THE NETWORK

Here are some steps you can take to make use of the IMPACT Network and build a thriving, multicultural Silver Spring:

1. Host a Neighbor Circle to get to know your neighbors over some simple dinners. We host Circle trainings periodically throughout the year.
2. Spend time learning about issues in your community and how they impact our diverse residents. Then, consider how you can bring what you learn to others.
3. Come to a Networking Night to find people who share your concerns and want to be a part of change.
4. Form a diverse action team to collaborate for change! Then, get ideas and encouragement for action at an Action Support Night. Even if you don’t have an idea or project, offer your skills and feedback to others who have a passion.
5. Have a conversation with an IMPACT Network Guide who can connect you to other people and resources.
6. Enroll in our programs and trainings for empowerment and leadership.
7. Make some Coffee Connections: Take another network member out for coffee, listen to their story, and see if you have any common interests.
8. Help us facilitate dialogues, community gatherings, and other events.
9. Join our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter to take the Network virtual!
10. Share what you’re doing with us! We love to hear, and we’ll be better connectors when you update us.
